I moved there because I needed a place fast that was safe. Well, it's relatively safe. My grill was stolen. When I moved out, one of the maintenance persons told me I had to move the truck (the carpet cleaners are OK to part there) he said the security guard would get me. Where was he when my grill was stolen' The place needs to be cleaned outside BAD. If you have smoke allergies, DON'T go there. I had to battle continuously to keep my place from smelling like an ashtray from the people downstairs. The turnover rate is HIGH and for good reason. You tell them to fix something like an electrical problem and they think it's funny. If you want quality Internet or cable, stay away. They ONLY allow Lindsey Communications to provide the cable and Internet. They are owned by Lindsey Management, coincident, I think not. The cable is a joke, horrible selection and the worst quality I have ever seen. Lines running through the screen and they can't fix it. When there is bad weather, you WILL NOT have cable or Internet for at least a day. Do they realize that a storm is coming and get ready' No. Do they come in to fix it, even if it's a weekend' No, they wait until the next business day. The Internet is pathetic. They have a single T1 line for the ENTIRE complex, that's 1.5 mbps. They sell 56kpbs, 128kpbs and 1mpbs. The 1mpbs is only 256kbps if you use it for more than 10 minutes. There are HUNDREDS of apartments there, if only ONE per building had the lowest speed, the T1 line would be maxed out. Pathetic!! If you need help with your service, good luck, it's always your router (I have a degree in networking, I think I know what to do). Don't get a 1 bedroom if door slamming bothers you. The walls of your bedroom will shake badly. Overall it's an ok place for the money, but there are other places that are just worth the extra money. I would only recommend if it's a temporary situation.

I have not had any problems with getting things fixed, but then again I am living in one of the executive suites... economic discrimination? Of course! We are a discriminating country. If not race then sex. If not sex then economic... I wonder what is next? Oh, right... --- (Gei) marriage. But I agree with the cable and Internet! $50 bucks for 200K? I am the laughing stock of the bloging community! 100Mbps fiber optic downloads in Japan spoiled me. Well, at least you do not have to deal with Comcast in Angelo's Grove right across the street. I was told by the cable guy that the wiring is faulty and I should move to another building... and they are still trying to charge me an $88 set up fee! The nerve of some people! What is wrong with the word G A Y that it must be replaced with ---?
