As indicated by the name of the complex, The Greens is located on a large gulf course. Unfortunately, my apartment does not face the course and therefor I do not have a room with a view.
I lived in the Executive Suite, which is furnished and costs $1200 per month, from 15 Dec 2006 to 23 Dec 2007. I now live in Angelo's Groove, right across the street. The Greens is much better than AG. See Goodearl's review for candid information.
The Good Points: -Renters have access to a pool, a small gym and free access to the gulf club house/pool and grounds usage. Golf carts come at an extra fee. -The staff are very friendly and helpful!!! -Safe and generally quite area -Close to the I-55 South on ramp
As I am living in a furnished executive suite, a weekly cleaning service does a wonderful job making sure everything is ----&span.
The Set Backs: -Unreliable satellite cable service (during storms) -No parks near by for children or myself to play (this is probably the largest set back) -Uncompetitive cable Internet access (slightly faster than dial-up, but I need 100Mega/sec) -The parking lot does not offer the smoothest ride and due to its nature, backing out can be a bit dangerous because one is unable to see around the SUVs (this really has nothing to do with the apt. per se, just my neighbors and I can park somewhere else) -The air con has been acting up since the weather started to reach its summer peak, but we did not experience 9 Aug 2007's blackout that many Marion residents experienced.
The city of Marion does not have bike trails or sidewalks so biking/walking to the neighborhood market can be quite dangerous.
Overall, I would say the greens is a great place to live.
Side Note: According to Webster's on-line dictionary... Main Entry: ----- and span Variant(s): ---- and span \ spik- n(d)- span, spik- -\ Function: adjective Etymology: Short for ------and-span-new, from obsolete English ----- spike English and span-new Date: 1665 1: fresh, brand-new 2: spotlessly clean
Now, tell me why this site much change the word s p i c to "----&span." 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
