We've lived at Lexington Park for a year now. It's a new community still undergoing construction, so there's some noise, dirt and debris to contend with. On the plus side, the apartments are still in decent shape, and the floorplans are well designed. There is supposedly going to be a pool, though we were promised that it would be useable shortly after we moved in a year ago, and we're still waiting.

Things you won't find in the brochure: (1) while high-speed internet is avaiable for the computer, there is no cable for the TV. It's Dish Network or you can try your luck with an antenna. (2) There have been a number of car accidents at the intersection trying to cross Maumelle Blvd. There is no light, and traffic gets heavy at rush hour; it is inconvenient at best but can be outright dangerous. (3) It's great that they take pets, but there is dog poop all over the grounds. They provide baggies and trash receptacles, but people don't use them. It isn't the fault of the management, but it is a real issue. I'd recommend holding your breath on those warm summer days, and definitely stay off the grass.

The main issue we have experienced is a lack of communication with the staff. For instance, the gym is only accessible by code that changes monthly, but they don't distribute it unless you specifically ask when you drop off your rent in person. You can pay your rent online, but good luck getting into the gym. They schedule routine pest control, but don't tell you they're coming to your apartment until the evening before and then expect you to scramble around that night making arrangements for pets and making sure the areas they need to access are clear for an appointment they've known about for ages. Given that it is new construction, amenities are being finished and open for use, but they don't send out notices or give you a heads up that the gym is finished, or that they've moved your mailbox, or ___ (fill in the blank). They are very nice and when you need something they are helpful, but there is definitely a lack of initiative to keep the residents informed.

Overall, you do get a lot for your money (and it's really nice that they take pets), but you've got to be willing to put up with the growing pains. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
