MCCAIN PARK APARTMENTS could be an absolutly beautiful and pleasent place to live except,
utility bills are sky high for many reasons. Large SINGLE pane windows old a/c units, old water heaters,
old furnances, old insellation, some of this stuff is 30 years old!!!! Gaps under doors, roachs and mice
problems, increasing drugs problem, critters in attics, lots of roof leaks and flooding problems.
Managment is nice until you move in. Then they talk about you behind your back giving your personal info to
other residents. Crime is on the increase, break in's fights, vandalisim and more.
The property was once something very nice, but the new owners TriVest Residential, only care about money!
Not the people who live there! Steps falling apart, broken empty flower boxes in breezeways,
curtousy officer who are never available. Moldy tiles in bathrooms are just caulked over making it your
problem in a very short time, dusty and moldy air vents. Look around before you move here!!! Look at the windows,
the patios, talk to other residents, ask them about bills and maintenance issues. Look at the a/c units.
Poor maintenance, you have to request to have filters changed, some people don't even get one then!!
The staff picks and chooses favorites. ASK OTHERS DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!!!
BE WARNED. RENT INCREASES AND ADDED FEES WILL CERTAINLY BE IN YOUR NEAR FUTURE IF YOU MOVE HERE!!!
SIX RENTAL INCREASES AND SEVERAL FEES WERE ADDED IN A ONE YEAR TIME FRAME! LOOK FOR YOURSELF!!! PS MANAGMENT ADDS BOGUS REVIEWS TO RAISE THIER RATINGS!!!! THEY ALSO TRASH OTHER UNITS! I WOULD NOT GO TO LAKEWOOD EITHER. CHOOSE OVERBROOK, OR FOOTHILLS OR BETTER YET RENT A HOUSE!!!!!!!!

Actually a former resident. Regardless of who wrote review, the facts remain the same, just look for the things mentioned and you will see. Also the comment asking if I am a disgruntled employee should let you onto the fact the current employees access the reviews to write thier own, in order to make the reviews appear better. Anyway as mentioned previously just look for yourself. Look at the age of the a/c units, look at the large single pane windows, look for the gaps, look at the police reports...just see for yourself! Maybe the problem is lazy and uncaring current employees...not disgruntled former employees. It seems like any employee who actually gives a care about the residents doesn't last long, because that would cause the others to have to work harder. Seriously don't take my word for it. Look for yourself. How little the office staff really cares will be shown as soon as you move in and are under lease. They will be nice and smile up until you ask something of them. Maybe instead of being online trying to add bogus reviews to make themselves look better they should be out in the community making REAL improvments. This stuff is not made up...I can't fake old and antiquated windows, appliances and a/c units. These are facts that you can go by and check for yourself. You can verify utility cost with the local utility department. You can hear the squirells running round the attics spaces for yourself, or ask folks on the top floors. Also on any rainy day, come by and see the drainage problems for yourself. I am not asking for anyone to take my word for it...I am just telling you my experience and letting you know what to look for. Maybe after increased turn over they have corrected some of the problems (I doubt it though) and if that is the case kudos to them, if they did it sooner some really good residents would still live there. Watch out for the dog poop while you tour the property. Oh and they will show you a beautiful model but ask to look at a vacant unit and walk the property without office staff so that you aren't just seeing what they want you to see.
