repeat resident-a mistake From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/6/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   first time living there: well, where can i start. i lived in the back part of the complex my first stay there. it was terrible, the whole complex is infested with MICE. you will see their droppings under furniture (just in case you think you don't have them in your apartment). they don't send the maintenance over in a timely matter, will have to call them back. Second time living there: Still had the mice (found out when we moved the furniture), cabinets had so much paint on them the hidges were pushed outwards and unable to close. Scratches all over the kithen counters -which there isn't much of (use a cutting board people). the carpet isn't tacked down, it bubbled all the time (and all they did to fix was push to the wall and still not tacked down), don't bother putting a balcony if it's not even two feet wide, maintance still took a while..even when our heater was out durning winter, parking was atrousous-people would park there trucks with trailers on them sideways in our spaces from other buildings. the tennis court looks VERY worn! the siding was falling from the buildings-we lived on 2nd floor. For the amount you pay, you would think they could atleast make the apartment look not so worn, the grout in the bathrooms was disgusting-don't knock on the bathroom walls..it might cave in. atleast they could fix the tennis court the amount of money you spend there, or the outside of the buildings. When going apartment hunting, i'm gonna start bringing a damn inspector-when you live there you notice all the things WRONG with the apartment and buildings. there's ALOT of vandalizing and breaking into cars! watch your kids when at the pool. All in all, it was a complete mistake moving back there, i came from out of town and it was quick to get in. they showed us an aparment, and it was alright...doesn't mean give us that apartment- once moved in it looked terrible..thats when we started noticing all the things wrong with the place. you can't get out of this contract-even upon death of other members (or yourself i think, not sure). And they have a pet restriction, but no one follows it. ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU SPEND FOR THIS COMPLEX!!
