I lived at Meadow Lake Apartments for two years and I can safely say that this was the worst apartment complex I have EVER lived in. The apartments are cracker boxes and not worth the rent that continues to increase annually. When I first moved in, a one-bedroom apartment went for $283. After just two years, the price has increased to $325!
The walls in the apartments are extremely thin, making it impossible not to hear the people next door to you.
Even with thicker walls, it wouldn't be much better because the neighbors are often loud with their music, their voices or their televisions. And the office staff rarely have anyone on the premises that can do anything to keep the complex quiet. It's pretty much the inmates running the asylum.
The parking is ridiculous. People are not supposed to bring in trucks with attached trailers that take up more than one parking space, but it still happens on a regular basis. There is no parking lot security, so anyone can come in and mess around with someone's car. And if you're looking for a complex that deters solicitors, keep looking. No one prevents anyone from churches to any fundraiser or business from soliciting in the complex.
