I lived at The Links for 1 year and had a ton of problems. Golf balls always smashing through the windows and hitting my vehicle, which by the way is your problem if that happens, "I was told specifically that this is the reason you have car insurance". I had a maintenance man unlock my door and walk in while I was asleep and not even knock. The carpets never got cleaned and I always heard commotion from the surrounding appts. The staff was snoby and very unhelpful after moving in. Look anywhere eles but here.

On the golf balls breaking windows, we are not resposible for your personal property like car, you, items in your apt. The apt window is broke then we will replace that. As for the neighbors that is apt living. Oh, and on the door ulocked and no knock while sleeping, how do you do if they knocked or not? On the carpets getting cleaned, maybe you shold have asked someone in the office, we do comp carpet cleanings.

Wow the responder is very rude. I smell civil claims lawsuit for the fact that they are suppose to have insurance for their golf course, just in case of accidents. As a tenant you should look up your rights against slum lords like these. Also check your lease most landlords must give a notice of showing up. TRESPASS MUCH? "HOW DO YOU KNOW?"

Wow! If responder2007 actually works for the Links, and that is truly the managements attitude, then this place will be on the front page by the end of the summer! Um, guys, when you put a golf course in the middle of an apt complex, you DO bear the risk of being found at least partially responsible for damage to person or property, and taking the arrogant attitude seen above essentially guarantees a lawsuit. Have fun.

I do believe that the golf balls breaking windows would be the apts responsiblity, but on the golf balls hitting you or your car, I think that there are signs posted saying that they are not responsible for damages. The personal property in your apt that would have been damaged would fall under your renters insurance, if you had that? I do not believe that whoever responder2007 is that they were trying to be rude, maybe they think that we should understand, if they work there, how you have to be in todays world.

TO THE PERSOM WHO WROTE THIS.. YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS LAWFUL FOR THE WINDOWS YES IT DOES STATE IN THE LEASE THAT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY.FOR COMING IN TO THE APT. WHILE YOUR SLEEP GUESS WHAT THE ONLY TIME ANYONE COME IN YOUR APT. TO DO WORK WHICH YOU HAVE SINGED FOR AND TO DO PEST CONTROL.WHICH IS STATED IN THE LEASE THAT THEY CAN DO THAT. {Wow! BUT THE STAFF AT THE LINKS GO OUT OF THERE WAY TO HELP EVERYONE AND FOR THOSEWHO DON'T THINK SO THAT IS YOUR OWN THING.

What a bunch of crapola. The golfer who hit the golf ball is responsible for all damages. It is the responsibility of the apt's to recover damages from the golfer to their property, as is the responsibility of the leasee to recover the same for damages caused by that golfer to their property. A police report would be advised as then you can sue that golfer. If however you cannot locate that golfer then THAT is what insurance is for. The apt is not going to have a broken window as who would rent it? So if they decide not to go after the golfer then so be it. It is their dime. It is also your dime if you decide not to find out who just smashed your front fender of your car and prosecute. Better have good insurance. FYI, You CANNOT sign away your rights no matter what the lease says for what amounts to a legal liability. In this case though the liability is with the golfer. Only the maintenance guy can enter for bug control without notice, anything else needs permission.
