I've been living here for three years, almost four.
Several of my local friends have also moved into this complex, and we all agree that the Rena Valley Apartments are better in quality and experience than any of the other Van Buren apartments, especially for the money.
My favorite feature is the covered (and well lit) parking with assigned numbers. There have been a few times that I've come 'home' to find a strangers car in my spot, but a simple note usually prevents a reoccurance.
They've got a clean pool area, and the grounds are well kept.
I haven't had any issues that have needed to be fixed in my apt, and the only maintanance I've had (other than grounds and pest control) is their monthly pest spray and air filter replacement (no charge to residents).
I've been renting here for longer than I ever anticipated, but at the price I'm paying, I am not upset about that. My apt includes clothes washer and dryer (both quiet) and kitchen appliances, and I'm paying less than $450/mo.
Any apartment building will have noise, and I've got neighbors below me and on two sides of me. The noise is really minimal, and I haven't ever once had to go knocking on someone's door in the middle of the night, to ask them to "keep it down". In almost 4 years I'd say that's worth noting.
I give them 4.5 stars overall
