I was at Pecan ridge for about 9 months. The only good thing about the complex is the style of the apartments. Their furnished apartments are very nice, and roomy. The biggest problem with the apts would have to be the spiders, they were EVERYWHERE, and dont call maint. i was there and i couldnt tell you who maintence was because they never came. Their answer for pest control. Go buy Raid. The tennants were very very nice and the area is quiet and the crime was very low there. BUT the staff has to be the worst i have ever encountered. I was constantly harrassed by the staff. being a young black male I was watched constantly. One of the office ladies would do everything she could to get me to leave. Her friend, who lived next door to me, said he heard my music one day...Keep in mind. I was at work every day from 5a to 7p and the day he said he heard my music, I was 6 hrs south of w. memphis on vacation. But she told me, if she had any other complaints, id be asked to leave the complex. She also tried to be a hassle on the rent. She wouldnt accept a certain type of money order, come to find out, the office didnt care how you paid, she was just trying to be difficult. AND dont expect to get your deposit back without a fight. Her first excuse was i left my apartment in a mess, even though one of the other office people had already informed me that the apt was in great condition. THEN once i brought that news to her attention, she lied and said she sent it and that i should just be patient. One month later, she finally sends my deposit. Sooooo i suggest you head to Riverbend Apts, not pecan ridge.
