We've lived here for a few months, and socialize with other couples here as well and this is our take on this place...
ONE major problem is that the bathroom ventilation ducts are networked together between apartments. This means when the downstairs people start their coffee in the morning, we smell it up here. If they decide to light up, our guest bathroom smells like a bowling alley. If they have(ahem) digestion issues, we get to know all about it. That is our ultimate complaint. It's not just our apartment either. other apartments have the same problem, The fix-it guy said (in broken english) it was common but there was nothing he could do about it.
Other than that, If you live near the back (away from McDowell) the noise is nonexistant. If you live near the front it can be noisy.
The maintenence is alright, though they sometimes take a long time and don't speak english. The grounds are overall well-kept and owners are penalized for not cleaning up after their pets. The extra parking is around the edges of the complex, so it depends on where you live how many extra spaces there are. Oh, and there's a lot of roaming cats. Haven't seen a lot of bugs though.

You sound very racist I know the maintenance staff they speak english just fine and are very helpful. I think you should think before you write this makes you sound very ignorant.
