I just renewed my lease for a second year at Aventura. I love it here! Disagreeing with the previous comments, the office staff has always been super friendly and helpful to me. Maitnance is always prompt when I put in a work order. My car has never been stolen. It did unfortunatly get broken into a couple months ago and they stole my GPS but that was partially my fault because I had it out where it could be seen. Don't leave ANYTHING important in your car! Other than that I feel very safe here. I transfered from 1st floor to 2nd floor because I was seeing earwick (I think that's what they're called) bugs. I also did see a couple spiders. If you hate bugs like I do I don't recommend a ground level apartment. I have a one bedroom unit with a den and the price is VERY reasonable for the square footage. Hope this is helpful :)
