I've lived here for almost three years(2005-now) and despite normal living in an apartment complex problems, I have enjoyed my apartment. I have a one bedroom that is fairly spacious. I love my floor plan and I haven't had anything break or need repair at all.
At the beginning of my lease, there was a lot of bugs due to the new construction, but that's just a fact of living in Arizona. The bugs have all but disappeared. If you still have bugs, they have free pest control. You just have to email or call ahead of time.
The parking has been fine for me. I've never had to walk far. Unless you are getting in super late at night, there are always spaces open.
The noise level doesn't bother me. I'm near the street so I hear street noise and sirens, but haven't heard the neighbors.
I've appreciated the change in ownership since the billing is MUCH more accurate and efficient. I used to have to add up taxes, water and rent on my own and hope it was the right amount. The new ownership actually gives you a paper bill!
Lots of families live in the complex so I feel safe. I've never had my car vandelized or stolen, but then again, I make sure I always set my alarm and always lock my doors. You wouldn't believe how many people don't lock their cars then complain about things being stolen!
This is one of the nicer apartment complex in the area. Everything else nearby in Avondale is either poorly made or has major issues with crime.
