My husband and I had just moved here from out of state with our three small kids. We had stayed with his brother until we were able to find something, we came across these apartments and even though they were very small in size they looked nice enough. The first part of march was when we were to move in, we got a babysitter and barrowed a truck. Once we had the keys we started moving things in and to our supprise there were cockroaches everywere. We went directly to the office and they said that they would have the place foged, but we would not be able to move in for another 2 weeks. So we waited. Things seemed to be ok after that until night time hit, then they came out in full force. They were on my walls in my dishwasher, even in the shower, everywere you could imagine they were there. All of our food and dishes had to be stored in plastic containers. After fighting for months with the appartment to take care of the problem or move us to another apartement we were told that we could leave and not have to worry about the fees for breaking the lease. It took us a month to get the money for another place and we left. About a year later i get something in the mail saying that i owe this place like 1400.00 for breaking our lease. They came back and said that they never told us we could leave. We are not the only people they have done this to, i have talked to many who have been told the same thing and then get hit with a surprise bill later on. All i can say is that if you want your family to live in a place that will not be a health violation then you need to look, for somewere not assosiated with this apartment complex, i know they have other apartments in town so just be careful.
