Whatever you do, DO NOT LEASE AT TERRA VISTA! The first week I lived there, my unit was robbed (money and prescription pain medication). When I reported it to management, they denied it all. Three months later, Phoenix Police Dept. pulled a midnight raid, complete with swat team, squad cars and helicopters.

"Courtesy patrol" is the apartment manager's husband, retired Marine and Maricopa County Sheriff, who is absolutely creepy. He "patrols" the grounds and surrounding shopping area in nothing but skimpy shorts and a large walking stick day and night. When not patrolling, he stands on his patio smoking and looking into female tenants' windows in the buildings facing his unit. He loves to tag cars with tow warnings,harass the children playing in the common areas and guests who park their cars in areas he doesn't approve.

The "business center" is nothing more than 2 computer terminals with internet service, no printers, no fax machine, no phones. Any communications needed by tenants must be done in the leasing office with personnel standing nearby to overhear.

Maintenance is a joke. The unit I leased was not "move in ready" as I was told. No hot water, no heat/air conditioning and the plumbing in the guest bath leaked terribly through the walls and into the unit below, damaging personal property.

The parking is extremely limited, the noise from Tatum Blvd. is horrendous at all hours of the day and night, and tenant noise can be heard inside the units from neighbors engaging in many different activities, including sexual.

The corporate office personal of their management company are extremely rude and utterly unconcerned about tenant rights or problems.

Run, don't walk, from this place!

this is obviosly a joke!!! i have lived here twice! a couple years ago- no problems! safe clean wonderful! mature friendly people and of all ages. and i live here again for that reason! and yup!!! the same:) still so great!
