I've been here for 8 months & the Maint. dept really sucks - I've been waiting for some items to be repaired for 3 months & that's no lie !! I've ask the front office numerous times why is this taking so long to repair , my fridge is leaking from the back against the wall on the inside & I still have a bowl in the fridge to catch all the water that drips out , my dishwahser leaks after the rinse but still no maint. the dryer does not dry properly I have to turn it on 2x's in order for the clothes to dry & it'snot even full load 10/24/08 these things are still not fixed so now i have given up on maint,the front office just doesn't care notice the signs says $500 for a referral & I've noticed alot of tenants has been moving out & there's alot of empty apts. I would not recommend this place - my old apt - lived there for 8 yrs never had a problem but wanted a new place , so I am going to look for a new apt complex my lease ends soon

I lived there last year and I hated it. I was there during the whole transition from Chandler Place to Alante at the Islands and with the new management. The apartment layouts are awesome and the area is typically kept clean outside, that's probably the only nice thing. When I moved in I had to SCRUB my apartment because it was FILTHY. Whenever there was an issue where maintanence had to come out it took FOREVER and they did a half ass job... I even had maintanence come out when the new management was trying to do things the "right way" and it was still poorly done. The parking SUCKS!! I was parked in MY assigned parking spot and some A** wrote a note on my car saying it was going to be towed! I called management and they basically LAUGHED in my face for asking them if tenants had the right to call tow companies. The trash system is AWFUL and the parking lot ALWAYS smells like rotten food and baby diapers! In the summer time EXPECT a high electric bill because the windows are SINGLE PANE and the screens do nothing so the heat pours into the apartment, it's horrible how hot it gets in there... we had a 2 bedroom apartment that was upstairs and our electricity bill was close to $300 a month because the place was never cool and a/c was fighting to cool the place down. One time maintanence came in and said they had to take pictures of my apartment because they were seeing how we were doing and they guy said "I shouldn't be telling you this, but they're trying to get rid of all the young people"... I was LIVID and I should have taken legal action when he did that and said that because he had NO right and that was stereotyping! We were young (18 and 19) but we were ALWAYS on time or early with our rent and we NEVER had any noise complaints and the cops NEVER came to our apartment because we didn't have parties! I WOULD NEVER MOVE HERE BECAUSE OF THIS!!!!!

i have a bowl in my fridge to and its allways frozen but i must defrost it ITS FROST FREE HELLO MY NAME IS STU WHAT A JOKE YES AND MY DRYER DOES THE SAME THING ITS NOT THE DRYER ITS THE VENT NO AIR FLOW BUT U THING THEY WOULD LISTEN TO ME HELL NO IM DONE HERE
