As former residents, I must say that I have never been more disappointed with a property management company as this one. We were residents for 3 years and the last year was by far the worst year we had living there. We needed a new dishwasher from June of 2007 and kept asking and never got it, until April of 2008. And then when we moved out, we cleaned the entire apartment from top to bottom. The maintenance manager did the walk through without us being present when we moved out. He proceeded to tell us that the walls were very dirty, which they weren't, as I had spent many hours cleaning each and every wall in the 3 bedroom apartment that we were in. They then told us that we would only receive $56 of our $250 deposit back because we had to pay for the paint. Well, I got confirmation from another manager at another property and was told that since we lived there more than a year we didn't have to pay for the paint. So we called the regional manager and left 2 messages for her and to this day have not had a returned phone call. So I would have to discourage anyone from renting with the property.

Please take the time to write to Gary Harper at 3TV on your side. I wrote to him and hope that it will bring some attention to what Alante is doing. They kept my $250 deposit and said they were having "budget issues". I was under the impression that they are not supposed to be spending deposits.......
