This is possibly the worst complex I've ever had the displeasure of living in. Were it not for my roommate, I would never have moved here. The amount of dumpster diving illegals living in the complex is amazing. Not to mention those persons who peddle tamales and mexican ice cream, honking their horns and raising havoc while selling food products via push-cart.
There is NO security in the complex, though management often speaks of them. I believe that I've maybe seen one security guard on one occasion during the year I've lived here. Aside from that, the crime itself is disturbing. Laundry is often stolen from the laundry rooms, lamps are broken frequently, I've had men FOLLOW ME from my car to my apartment when I get home late, and honestly, it's very disturbing. Gunshots are common place, and the number of gangbanger wanna-be's blasting their hip-hop or spanish music at 11pm is outlandish. There is absolutely NO sense of respect for other tenants in this complex.
The rear gates of the complex are closed and PADLOCKED at night (though there are NO gates at the front of the complex) leaving this complex a fire hazzard waiting to happen.
On top of this, there seems to be a major lack of initiative on the part of maintenance to fix things that break, let alone do it correctly. Such as the case with my shower faucet leaking; third time is usually a charm, but in this case, five was the magic number. And god forbid you ask for something to be fixed when you're home. I don't trust maintenance personnel at Autumn Creek to come into my home when I'm not there. On top of that, the sprinkler systems are on a timer; more specifically timed to turn on right about the time many people are getting home, making it impossible to use the deathly-slippery-when-wet sidewalks, unless you'd like to take a nice shower before getting into your apartment. You cannot walk on the sidewalks without getting absolutely drenched. Again, maintenance fails us.
Another issue is pest control. Bee's, wasps, ants, roaches, beatles, and SPIDERS are a constant hassle. I've been bitten and stung by more insects while living in Autumn Creek than I've ever been bitten or stung while on vacation in Peru, or just camping in the wilderness. Asking the managers to have pest control come out is a joke, because they NEVER SHOW UP!!
And finally, parking. That is a joke if I've ever lived through one. There is NO ASSIGNED PARKING!! This basically means that while I have to walk nearly a football feilds length of distance from my car to my upstairs apartment with a two year old and an arm full of groceries, the guy caddy corner to me can park all 3 of his cars in the covered parking, and leave no space for anyone else. Parking is a nightmare. There are cars sitting in the covered parking that have not moved for months, and several with expired tags. Other complexes would tow these vehicles, but Autumn Creek has apparently adopted a "There's nothing we can do" attitude.
Needless to say, we will NOT be renewing our lease this August, and we've well advised everyone my roommate and I know against moving there, or to any other Bernard-Allison managed property. I'd recommend this place be condemned and demolished. It's well on it's way there anyway.

you just sound like an UPTIGHT JERK, why dont you take your im better than you attitude and buy a house. OH WAIT YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY, LOOKS LIKE YOU SHOULD PEDDLE TAMALES! damn id like some ice cream at my front door service.
