I lived at BB for 2.5 years. I thought the complex is pretty well maintained. The apartments are nice enough, although carpets and counter-tops are cheap. They were fairly good at responding quickly to problems, but they weren't always fixed right the first time. Management was pretty bad they could care less about customer service. Crime is also a problem I heard about at least three cars being stolen from just my part of the complex.
