I have had an excellent experience while living in this Pillar community for the last 3 yrs. However, when it came time to renew my lease, this compnay showed its true colors to not valueing its long-term residents. the rent increased so high, and was willing to downgrade to the "smallest" unit they had, however, they gave me no incentives to stay. They just said stated, its not a renters market anymore. I wanted to transfer to a sister community down the street (Pillar at Pecos), but the unit wasnt going to be ready until 7 days after my lease expired. I asked if they would work with me and they RUDELY stated, sorry, your unit has been rented and there is nothing we can do...I gave them 3 months notice!!! how sad, since ive paid my rent on time for the last 3 years, even moved per their request to another unit due to pipe leaks in my unit (I was workable w/ them) and they wouldnt work with me, after being a loyal renter all this time. When the AZ market levels out and they cant be so picky about renting the apartments to "ANYONE" for money....lets see where the community heads.....it will be downhill, since they DO NOT value their residents of years....I will NEVER recommend them due to this customer service. Its really sad.
