Chandler Pointe

I moved into this complex to keep my child in the neighborhood school and the price was right at $750 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath. The complex doesn't really have any amenities to speak of. Small pool and no playground type of equipment for kids to play. The comments from the other poster about the tennis courts, weight room and jacuzzi are correct.

The area of the complex I live in has not had any bug problems. The repair to my shower actually made it worse to get hot water. I still have my hot water shut off in the bathroom sink because water just pours out when it is turned off and the quality of repairs is so shoddy I rather them not try to fix it.

I received my renewal notice and the rent has been increased to $945 for the 2 bedroom 1 bath with a pet, water bill and tax. Hah! Ripoff! Like the other poster said I really dread moving again but there is no way this complex is worth the amount of money they want to charge with zero upgrades. The place looks trashy and feels like I'm living in the ghetto. If any upgrades to the complex are planned, I sure haven't seen any work started. All I notice is the number of apartments that are vacant.

I would not recommend living in the complex unless they undergo major renovations. The apartments still look like they did when the complex was built in the early 80s. The only attempt at upgrading in my unit consists of painting the kitchen and bathroom cupboards.

We've had different types of theft in the complex and I no longer feel safe living here.
