I movied in on June 1,08 at Chandler Meadows apt.when I had a problem I called maintenance and they helped me right away.The property was just taken over by a new management company and was being renovated. Most of the amenities were not open for resident use. They have now completed everything and the office, clubhouse, business center and fitness center are very nice. They even refinished the basketball and tennis courts. It looks like a new property. There is a lot of green grass everywhere and the neighbors all seem very friendly. Recently there was a problem with the lights out on the property by my building and the maintenance guys worked on it for a couple of days and got it fixed. Nothing I have brought to management or maintenance's attention has been ignored. I like the property and the staff and glad I chose to move in here. I saw the comments about the scorpions but am not sure why it is there because I have never seen one in my apartment or around it. After I moved in they had to reassign the parking lot and though my space was a little further than I would have liked, I understand that it was done in the fairest way possible to give all residents an equal distance from their apartments. They have gotten packages for me in the office and are very friendly when I come in to pick them up. I hope people understand that this site can be easily used to bash a property when you are mad at management. I just wanted to give management a thumbs up for how I have been treated here.

The last review was from management. I visited the property yesterday and the place is a diamond in the rough. You would not expect from the outside of the complex to see how gorgeous all the renovations are. I looked at a 2 bedroom 2 bath with an all remodeled interior. All new appliances, fresh paint, and the floor plan flows like a home. They had an amazing move in special and a great rate. I filled out all the paperwork then, as the leasing agent told me that day was the "only" day that special would be considered and the rates would rise tomorrow. Although we didn't believe him, we really liked the place and he agreed to hold a check for us until payday, which was to our benefit more than theirs. Once all the paperwork was completed, we were shown the rate paperwork and was told of another charge he forgot to mention, "10 bucks for lower level" (ok fine, he forgot), then there was a $30 charge for a washer/dryer combo. We had mentioned several times we did not want the washer. I asked to see the laundry room, asked where the laundry would be in conjunction to the apartment, and was ignored. We looked at him and said again, "we didn't want the washer, so we will come back before the days end and make a decision." He said again that there was no way they could take out the washer, and there were no other available apartments. Plus, as he said, "It's only thirty more dollars", but that is not the point. (Its a cute new machine, but for a family I cannot have 2 towels washed at one time. I would much rather use a laundry room.)We came home, checked reviews for scorpions (which we are adamant at avoiding at all costs). We saw a review of scorpions and made the decision. After coming back to the complex, guess what they found, "another apartment without washer and dryer." This type of behavior shows the character of a company. You will say what you can to get your money and once we move in, who knows how you will be treated. Like I said, this place is really a gem. The price is decent, although the area isn't the best, you will get a great value if you pop in with the right special. If you would have been honest and listened to our needs at first, we would have signed the paperwork before we left. We picked up our check and will never return.
