I have lived here for 3 months now and i ABSOLUTELY love it. Everything works well, maitnence is quick and does a good job, Spacious apartment, nice facilities.
My only complaint is person who lives below me...Im guessing sounds really amplify on the first floor because a picture propped up against the wall that fell one night caused her to thump on her ceiling and me and file a noise complaint for "loud walking". And now we're having problems with her complaining about our dog to the point that we are on the verge of eviction which is ridiculous considering he is a small dog...Hopefully SHE will move soon or something cuz we love it here and dont want to move!
So basically...its a great place! Just make sure you dont have a crazy living below you :)
***January 2009 Update
We bought our dog a shock collar to help with him possibly barking while we are not home but we try to take him with us when we go out because he really is a good dog. (Havent had any complaints since then, I've gone around to most of my neighbors and they said they haven't heard him). In the past when we have lived on the second floor, we didn't have any problems with noise so I think it's something to do with the floors or acoustics here (I noticed that another reviewer mentioned a similiar thing). Also, the office staff has been great with getting stuff done and following up on things.

I'm sorry to hear that. The guy that lives above me sometimes has his girlfriends large dogs over and I never hear them. I do sometimes hear him stomp around or when he plays his music really loud but we're cool with each other so as long as it's sparaticly we let each other get loud once in a while. But I don't know what your neighbor is complaining about cause when he's texting me letting me know he's having people over or is gonna be loud I'll hear a low hum that is easily drowned out by the tv or my degus on their wheel.

You have got to be kidding...You might try the truth. Entirely different story than the crap you presented. Do you honestly believe the office staff would even bring up eviction without some validity to the complaint? Do you honestly believe someone complained about one loud thump or a picture falling down? Living below you is like living below the lanes of a bowling alley. Your dog may be small but the noise generated is NOT NORMAL. We are not talking about a party, music, footsteps, doors closing, etc. No complaint was made until your dog barked, howled and yelped for 3 hours at night. I honestly thought it was in distress and that you weren't home. Come to find out, your story to the office was you WERE home and locked the dog in the bedroom because you had company. That only makes it worse, that you knew the amount of chaos your dog was making and you had no regard for any of your neighbors. And this was not only one time. I could hear your dog from the parking lot. I'm sure these apartments are as sound proof as possible, I never hear any other neighbor other than a door closing once in a while. These are only 852 square feet, not a lot of area, someone would have to constantly jump and pace to make the amount of noise that occurs every night from your apartment. The second time this occurred it was from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. I called the office 3 times and each time held the receiver up so they could hear the noise. As far as whether I am crazy or not isn't the issue. Why do you think your lease agreement addresses the issue of noise? Why do you think the City of Chandler has a City Ordinance against noise that is intrusive, especially barking dogs, which by the way is a Criminal Misdemeanor charge. If I had called the police you would have been warned the first time and charged the second time. And by the way I have no plans on moving.

The best way to deal with this is to keep a log going of every time you have to call the police or the office. Documentation can be your friend, I have a log going where I live right now. I also have crappy neighbors who like to stomp on the floor at times (and other times alot), play loud music, and yell over it. I'm just searching for a new place for when the time comes and saw this post. The original persons who posted shouldn't have to worry about eviction as long as they are respectful with the noise.
