It is all good until time to renew my lease

I have lived here for 14 months. Chuparosas is nice in general. I love their pool. Staff is friendly. There are buggs in the summer if you live on the ground floor like I do. I had a noisy neighor for a few month and luckily they moved out. I planned to continue living here until I got my renewal notice. The renewal price is $200-$300 more than their current rate for new residents. They claimed that my renewal rate is based on the current market rate, which is somehow exactly the same as my current rate! Unbelievalbe! Also the staff insisted that I am not qualified for the low rate because that is for someone new. Ok, time to get that new resident special somewhere else!
