Great Staff in Front Office, but the Cable TV Choices Stink...

We have recently moved into our 2 bedroom apartment overlooking Coronado St. Everyone in the office has been very nice and helpful. We had a few maintenance issues with our apartment, and the staff bent over backwards to take care of them. Our neighbors are relatively quiet and we overlook a park across the street.
The location is fantastic. The complex is in a neighborhood setting across from a park. Shopping is very close, and the mall is less than 2 miles away. The 101 freeway is very convenient.
The community offers "Trash Valet" service where you put your trash (in bags) out by the curb between 7 am and 9 am for pick-up. This is extremely convenient. But it also means that there are trashbags by the curbs every morning. If you live toward the front of the complex, parking may be an issue if you have two cars. You get one assigned space or garage. The remainder of the parking is first-come, first-serve. The back of the complex seems to have more "unassigned" parking spaces than the front. For us, this is not currently an issue because we only have one car.
Tha cable company that serves the complex is absolutely horrible. They offer low quality analog cable service. For "digital cable," they offer DirecTV at a higher price than you can get from DirecTV. If you choose DirecTV, you must either buy your equipment and pay a monthly access fee on top of the DirecTV bill, or you lease the equipment and pay a rental fee in addition to the DirecTV bill. Either way, you lose. If your television viewing is important, you should probably not consider Coronado Crossings.
