We were not told about the requirement of renter's insurance until when we were signing documents. But the office staff was lying that she had told it. The office staff and the maintenance people here are very much habituated to tell a lie. When I called the leasing office to find out why the maintenance work that I requested was not done even after 3 days past the committed day the staff gave me a preposterous answer. She said that the maintenance person told her that my sister was there in the apartment when the maintenance person came to do the job, but my sister was confused about why we would request for that job. I was just speechless after hearing that. First of all, I don't have any sister. Nobody besides me lives in my apartment. The staff and maintenance people just make up stories to avoid working.
