I moved to the DTC last year and i signed lease for 6 months. During 6 months i caugth more than 10 scorpions in my apartment and at least twice a week in my patio. DTC has great location and i thought it was only my problem. However, after six months, i moved another place in the same complex because management said they have no problems about scorpions in other apartments. When the time came to sign a lease, the told me that, if i move out before the lease expire, i had to pay $2300. Rigt now, i am still dealing with scorpions and i can not move out. On the othr hand, management they dont really care who is going to live in the apartment. As other person mentioned in her/his review, i dont feel i am in secure in this apartment complex anymore. Anyway, try to find some place else. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!

I dont agree at all with what your saying about this awsome community. i have lived her for 5 years and never had a problem with not feeling secure or office staff not caring. i think that you have to remember that they are just doing there job and they cant help it if some apartments have scorpians. now you do understand that there are lots of places in az with scorpians.. I have always been happy here and thats why i have not moved out. The office staff is great and as for safety, never an issue. I think this person is mad because he wants to not pay to break his lease. Anyway take it from me, its a great community and stop by for yourselves to see..

I do not agree with the COMMENT poster. Scorpions should NOT be a problem in the place that you LIVE! I had problems with scorpions in my last apartment and when I moved I had absolutely no problem. That's because the apartment complex I now live at cares enough about its residents to spray outside the apartment buildings for scorpions.

I really dont know how much do they paying you to say that. its almost 2 years for me in this complex. Last week 4 black widovs, 2 scorpion in my bedroom, 1 scorpion in my livingroom. I can not even walk around.. rouches everywhere( its not only one or two-- hundreds of them) I am not complain about staff they are all nice people but they are not good enough. What about water bill... last theree months...$93, $67, and $55 and i spent most of my time in vacation in this time period. i used to live at two bedroom. They just hire one security company after compleins and they only forking thursday, friday and saturday nigths. I dont really care about money.i am paying $900 for one bedroom but i have some expectations. its not $400 rent!!!! Scorpions, I have many friends they live around this area. They had some problems with scorpions but maybe once or twice..Not 2-3 every week Min.!!!!!! Breaking lease is not a big deal for me but even if it was $1 i am not going to pay them. So, after all, this is not only my problem, i talk with my neigbohors and they live in this complex very long time. They also agree with these problems. By the way, one of them he just clean the barbeque!!!!!! we were asking for a month.. So, after all these, please dont try to say "he is mad" or something else. People really dealing with many problems in this complex. Its really nice complex but u saying "people should come overhere to see complex" But i am still here and i live here. I really see what is going on here! So good luck every one i am moving out:)))))

I've also have an issue with scorpions and large spiders in my apartment. I have contacted the management about this issue several times, as well as many other maintenance concerns, and they are NOT concerned about the problem. I am seriously considering breaking my lease!
