I am living out my lease agreement right now. I can tell you that everything the others have mentioned is true. Cheap appliances, carpet, walls, critters, etc. I've had my dishwasher fixed three times now and still doesn't work right. My tub works every now and then (I have a separate shower that works at least). The alarm system wouldn't stop going off and their alarm co. wouldn't fix it for three days they were backed up (so I had dismantled the damn thing after the first 12 hrs). Mgmt has a no replace attitude whether -duct tape might be holding it togethor but it doesn't matter to them. The other Aimco property nxt dorr has lower economic persons living their and they used to break into the cars all the time. Oh, the lease is ironclad, no way to break it without major financial cost. It didn't matter if I lost my job, a death, the mob was after me, I was unhappy -they still had to get paid.

Well first off just because there are people who have lower income who live next door does not mean that they are the reason for crime, "CRIME HAS NO HOME" and if you were a criminal would you go to the "ghettos" to steal or would you go where people have money. It is a very ignorant and prejudice thing to say, maybe you should get an education (take some classes on social identities), use common sense then speak what you feel, you won't sound like such an idiot! Next, noise complaints there are legal processes that you have to go through when you are serving legal notices, you can't just kick them out it is against the lease contract and Arizona Tenant laws! It is standard at ALL management companies not just ours. Anytime you decide to break a contract not matter what the issues are there is a penalty, whether it be an apartment lease or a cell phone contract. Maybe you should research your problems before you go blabbing your mouth about stuff you have no clue about! I have lived here for 2 years and it has been the best community in my 10 years of renting!

Clukens, you sound like an idiot yourself or more likely a member of the management staff. She said they broke into cars! That's all the common sense anyone needs, you dolt. Why not post under your real title and quit sniping at people who have a right to expect management to follow up on complaints. Regardless of what you say, I WAS cosidering moving here but these reviews have convinced me it's a bad idea. So nyahh to you.

squidbucket.... welcome to phoenix metro, where you car will get broken into. Deal with it. Sometimes bad things happen like that but what can you do... deal or cry :-)

Ummm... I've lived in the Phoenix metro area for 23 years and my car has never been broken into. Nor have my parents' cars, who have lived here even longer than I have (obviously). I don't think asking for a safe apartment complex is too much to ask for -- there are about 10 posts on the "Fairways" thread that state that cars get broken into at that apartment complex. If the management didn't do anything about it, they should expect to have unhappy tenants who pass on the bad word to prospective customers.
