Pros:
Close to great shopping on Chandler Blvd.
Spacious -- good value for the $$.
More quiet than some places I have lived.
Neighbors were courteous (w/ one exception) e.g., I left my door wide open (accidently) and left my work--my neighbors called to inform the office and sought me out later to ask whether I was OK. I hadn't met them and found them to be very appropriately concerned.
Mgmt did a good job of enforcement when I complained re: another renter's noise level.

Cons:
BIG scorpion problem.
Inflexible end date on lease.

Overall:
If you don't mind scorpions, I would recommend this place. I felt safe here.
I moved largely b/c of the scorpion problem, however.

Recommended: NO

I went there to see these apartments and they look really nice(they renew them). But now after I read this review I'm not sure I want to move to these apartments, I have two small kids and I don't want scorpions crawling around them, Could you tell me how many scorpions did you see and if you know if your neighbors had the same problem??

Hi, In response to your question about scorpions at the greens apartments, my downstairs neighbor at the Greens where I lived had scorpions that bit her 2-year-old son, and sued the complex. I had numerous scorpions (upstairs apt.) during rainy times or season changes. If you watch your step, you might be OK -- but I would see one scorpion a week on the bathroom floor...which was creepy. Mainly in the bathroom, living room, and on the stairs. Never in the bedroom. Probably one a week each, for 2 months at a time (during season changes). If you are very concerned about scorpions, I would check out tempe, or better quality built apts. in chandler. I know of people who live at Eastridge Apartments in Tempe and have NO scorpions there -- too far north for the critters to survive (not as glamorous of a place, but reasonably priced and reasonably safe & family oriented). I own a condo now in Tempe -- haven't seen a scorpion yet.
