I just recently moved into this complex and was blown away by the insensitivity of some of the staff. I wanted to see the apt before I signed the lease and was told that it was not like I was purchasing a house. I was told to pick up my keys Friday before 4pm because my move-in date was Saturday. When I mentioned that I wanted to clean Friday evening before moving any of my belongings staff kept insisting that the apartment was clean and there would be no need for that. I thought they believed I was going to move in on Friday and I assured them that the only thing I would be doing on Friday was clean. Eventually I was told that I could clean after 3pm on Friday. When I got into the apt. there was dirt on top of the refrigerator, on the counter next to the refrigerator, and on the floor between the counter and the refrigerator. The carpet has stains in the dining room, living room, and bedroom. There was so much cat hair in the carpet that I find it hard to believe anyone has ever vacuumed. I have not heard any noise from my neighbors but was awakened at 2:45AM yes AM by a group of noisy individuals at the pool. Two days later I arrived home and the air conditioner was blowing hot air. Maintenance seemed a little irritated by the call because they had already been to the complex earlier that day for the same reason and it was now after hours but the individual did arrive and the AC was repaired. I like the floor plan but I have been extremely disappointed. I already know the odds are against my renewing my lease when it expires.

It doesn't sound like you have lived in apartments much. These issues are pretty trivial...1 loud person at the pool, A/c fixed same day called in, carpet not new? Good luck in you next place.

Let's pay attention to detail. GROUP means more than one. A CLEAN carpet doesn't mean NEW. The mumber of apartments one has lived in is no excuse for rude staff, dirty apartments, and inconsiderate individuals. Did I step on someone's toes? If the number of apartments is still an issue for you I have lived in several including the Southeast, Midwest, and Southwest and there was only one worse than Hohokam Villas.
