For the most part, the maintenance requests and inquiries to the staff were handled in a very timely manner (though I had to make at least half a dozen to fix the toilet, shower, and dishwasher).
Unlike some apartments where I have lived, you are allowed a few days to pay rent without being subjected to late fees.
When I first signed up, I received free rent for the first month. Not sure if this is a special for everyone, though.
The layout is nice. The walk in closet is spacious, and the living room has a space built into the wall to put a TV.
One covered parking spot per resident and a ton of other open spots. You'd never have a problem finding a place to park.
The exercise room is pretty nice. Has a few pieces of cardio equipment, some weight machines, and some free weights. The room also has a TV and is never busy.
They do some gatherings in the complex - breakfast, dinner, etc.

The dining area - at least for my apartment - is tiny.
The community needs to be gated. My truck was vandalized overnight at the complex, and the staff wasn't too helpful when I asked about security. They basically said that they can't do anything about it.
A few residents have ruined my living experience for the past few months (Sept - Nov: 2007). The aformentioned parties made threats to other residents when they had no business doing so. I knew of one of the vehicles of one of the hostile residents and reported the issue to staff. Again, they said they couldn't do anything about it. Basically, they said they needed video of the situation to do anything. The staff has been pretty good with other requests (e.g. maintenance, complex upkeep, etc), but I feel they dropped the ball with this security issue.
Contrary to other reviews, I don't feel the location is good from a safety standpoint (see above).
Not sure if the complex has bug problems, but at one point, my place was raided by ants. My girlfriend and I keep a very clean apartment. The staff said that they were scheduling spraying the complex over the next few days. I requested that they come to fix the issue, but they didn't do so in a timely manner (the only time they didn't do so). I ended up taking care of the issue myself with lots of bug spray.
I agree with many of the reviews which state that the apartments are old and need renovation.
The pool is mirky and filthy. It's too bad, because the rest of the premeses is well maintained.
The AC is LOUD
The rent was raised twice. It was $780 for a 1 BR/Bath when I first got there and it is now $840.

Because of my experience over the last few months, I wouldn't recommend living here until something is done about security. Maintenance issues are too frequent, and it's a little pricey for what you get. It's too bad because for the most part, the staff has been friendly and helpful, the apartment has a nice layout, and the premeses are well kept. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

I agree, I have lived here over a year and had to take care of my ant infestation as well. It was really disgusting. I have also had about 3 roaches in the last two months. I keep my place clean, so I don't know what the heck is going on there. I haven't been impressed lately and this is my 2nd year living here. I think after our lease is up we are moving on. Plus my neighbors above me must weigh about 900 lbs a piece, loud and annoying, and I swear they don't ever sleep. But of course management can't do anything about loud neighbors that are walking very heavily. :)
