Pros: (1) The apartments are larger than you will normally find for the price, while the quality is good or comparable. (2) We never saw a bug, roach or pest in our year there, and the grounds are green and shady even in summer. (3) The maintenance is responsive, and most minor things get fixed quickly. The AC filters are changed regularly or on request, which keeps dust down. (4) The management have all sorts of extra services in the office like faxing, printing and copying documents at no charge for tenants. This is really convenient if you ever need such a service quickly.

Cons: We are on the second floor, and we encountered leaks twice during heavy rain. I have the feeling that a fix (which might be a major structural job) was being postponed as it only rained that heavily 4 to 5 times a year here. We got into the habit of leaving a bucket under the leak spot if we are leaving the apartment for an extended period, and if clouds are gathering. I am not faulting maintenance on this because a big fix will probably be more the owners' decision.

Overall: On balance, enjoyed our time there, and have good relationships with management and fellow tenants.

I had the same issue - the leak problem - in our place. The ceiling leaked in a few different spots. It was actually one of the couple of times where the maintenance staff dropped the ball - they didn't come fix the leak at all. On another occasion, when we first moved in, we had a bunch of ants. We called, but the staff didn't respond right away, so we had to take care of the issue ourselves with bug spray. For all of our other requests, the staff were very responsive and the fixes were effective. Keep in mind that this was a couple of years ago, and I think managmement had just changed when I was moving (to be closer to work in North Phoenix), so I don't know how effective the staff is now. As far as space goes, I remember the layout being good and the closets being spacious. The one thing I remember being small was the dining area. Also, the AC was very loud.
