well, when i looked at the empty model I HAD to move here... I actually ended up getting the apartment I looked at. It had brandnew carpet, tile, and paint. We had a great view of the lake (although me paid a little extra for it) and it also had a washer and dryer (also paid extra). Overall I was pleased with this complex but I do have a few complaints:
The washer and dryer are in the guest bathroom- which turned into a steam room any time you used the dryer. It was miserable during the summer, but there wasn't much the complex could do. Also the bugs... not roaches or ants or anything dirty like that, but you get TONS of little knats (I'm assuming because of the lake). they were everywhere and it made it to the point where you wouldn't want to go onto the patio becasue of them- therefor defeating the purpose of the lake view. I ended up dousing my sliding glass doors in windex just so the knats would land on it and die, then i could wipe their little dead bodies up every night. It was gross. The plus side to this is that gekkos were attracted to them and it was kinda cool to see gekkos all over, eating them. Also, my roomate and I weren't home much and we still had complaints of noise from grouchy neighbors. My only other issue is that, although we didn't use much more electric than anyone else, our electric bill was outragous- which was apparently due to some kind of electricity leak it the kitchen- which maintnance did nothing about. Other than all that, our apartment was beautiful, the office staff was extremely helpful, and the 24 hour gym was awesome.
