I have lived here for 6 months and it has been ... ok. We are in an upstairs unit and our 1st neighbors were loud and chain smokers, now we have quiet ones and that is nice. Though the staff is very NICE, they never can give you a direct answer. Also, we turned in a maintenance issue and they "lost" it...so, we waited over 6 weeks for the issue to be resolved when it was a 10 minute job. (the maintenance team is great, they aren't the problem). Tuesdays really suck here because at the crack of dawn (not even kidding!), the lawn guys come and blow crap around for literally 5 hours minimum. We have to have a fan running constantly in our bedroom or we wouldn't get any sleep. We were told that a brand new fitness center would be put in at the end of January...that finally happened in April and it is super lame. It is tiny, with hardly any equipment. The way they talked, it was supposed to be some great thing. HA. Parking is never a problem here and the grounds are kept up nicely. The pools are maintained and clean. Safety is pretty good, I feel fairly confident that I am safe here. The condos are poorly constructed and are falling apart. Our balcony has a big rot hole in the corner that someone could eventually fall through. Need I go on' We are moving at the end of our lease and why someone would want to actually BUY one of these condos for $160K is beyond me! Oh, and the lake...it is a disgusting cesspool of trash and scum. I am really surprised that the ducks and fish and turtles can even survive in it. I also should mention that on band nights, you can hear the bar across the lake and everyone in it...the sound really carries over the water.

it sounds like your just pessimist, every apartment is going to have its great points and its bad points. and as for neighbors...its not the apartments fault your neighbors are loud and smoke. Oh and if you want to see a lame work out area go to Parktowers, theirs is a old bowflex and a broken treadmill in a closet sized room with no air conditioning. the glass is half full my friend.

Okay, I will agree that the lawn guys sucked on Tuesday and I made sure management heard from me often about that. Except for that, this place was right on. I had a good experience.

I just posted and I completely forgot to mention the rotting balcony. One of the "wall" panels was completely disconnected. The kids couldn't play out there for months! You could literally fall out of it. Also, the floor boards were dry rotted and falling apart. The "gym" is kind of lame, but they have some alright equipment in there. Like 4 pieces.
