Roaches in the apartments

From day one moving into this place there has been a problem. Nothing was fixed on our (day of moving in) walk through. the maintenance said that this always happens because the management never tells them when the move in dates change. The maintenance is awesome. They fix things right away.....but the maintanence isnt good enough to live there. We had roaches in our apartment constantly!! We first had them come and spray, it did nothing. We had them Bomb our apartment (which you have to take everything out of cabinets and remove anything from the grounds in the closests and under beds), that didnt work. We then continued to complain but the staff did nothing. they blamed it on us saying it must be how we live. The staff also lied to us when they said that nobody around us had complained about bugs, when we talked to our neighbor below us and they said they had just complained about bugs.
The appliances suck, they say they will replace old coutertops but they dont. The staff makes it sound like they are going to do so much for you when really the only way to get things fixed are if you complain to them enough that you piss them off.
After having this bug situation (the entire time living there), we were offered to renew our lease.....for 100$ more a month! why would we pay that for a roach filled apartment'
Please dont stay there. the staff treat you like you are stupid, they may be "happy" all the time, but they dont answer questions ever. They beat around it and they sound like robots while talking to you. It's like they cant give you a strait answer. you walk out of the office thinking....did they even answer my question' Dont stay there, if you see any roaches, ask immediatley to go to another apartment they probably wont do anything, but might as well try right off in the begginning!!
