I was looking around at apartments to rent and was ready to sign a lease, when the manager showed me another floorplan. When she opened the blinds, there were two bullet holes in the window of the bedroom. I asked what they were, and she said they were from landscapers who cut the grass, and kicked up rocks. First, there was no grass remotely NEAR that apartment, and secondly, rocks don't make perfectly round holes in windows. They chip or shatter them. If she lied to me about that, what ELSE would she be lying about' Do I need to "duck and cover" everytime landscapers do their jobs'

I am an unhappy resident but i have too agree with the resident above. I have lived here for 3 years and I have heard nothing about any shootings here. This place is very safe. Other than the risk of a fire caused by irresponsible residents you don't have to worry about your safety. But the service and quality of apartment still suck. The location is the best thing going for los arboles. LOS ARBOLES YOU SUCK....BIG GOAT BALLS

I have lived at Los Arboles for 2 years now, and have had a great experience here. I too have had rocks thrown at my window by the landscapers (while I was home) and my window looked exactly the same as this window. I think your theory of Bullet holes is an interesting one...interesting enough if a bullet went through a glass window it would shatter it, don't ya think? It is very apparent that whatever hit the window hit it from the outside, not only that but you can see that the hole does not go all the way through the glass.....If a bullet can kill and/or seriously injur someone, don't you think it could go through a single pane of glass? If you do not want to live here, that is your choice, but to scare others because a rock hit a window which happens in arizona on a daily basis is just not right. Take the advice of a very happy resident here, safety is never guaranteed but if you want to make a truly informed decision and see the reality of the situation here you can certainly log on to the city of chandler website and find out the crime statistics for yourself!

haha What an idiot for thinking those are from bullets. Those landscapers do the same thing to my windows atleast 3 times a year. I've grown to live with it you should too! Have a great day you idiot.

I am a police officer in training as well as I have verified with multiple police officers including lab techs and YES those are bullet holes. I have seen these shots happen. I know how a bullet travels AND, your theory is switched. A ROCK will shatter the window because of the jaggedness and speed of the rock, or crack the window. It WILL NOT put a perfect circular hole in the window because it does not spin. a BULLET on the other hand spins at such a high rate as it leaves the chamber it takes that glass and torques it into that circular pattern. The hole is small because the lead in the bullet is so soft that the glass cuts away at it making it a small BB. So for the one that likes to call people an idiot without having the proper knowledge can sit there and realise that if he jumps to the conclusion about people's intelligence, he will end up being the bigger idiot. For the person that posted this, Thank you for the concern about the well-being of the "oh so smart" people who live in this complex. As for the crime report, don't bother. Crime in that area is steadily increasing and has increased annually of over 15% per year. Good luck. I'm sure I'll be knocking on one of your doors soon.

To the officer if you are in training to be an officer then you would at least know how to type the word realize. The windows on this property are so cheap a bullet would shatter it. This place is the worst place to live in chandler you are safer in the getto part of chandler like around az ave and pecos. THE OFFICER IS AN IDIOT. This is not a bullet whole it is from a BB gun.

Mike, I think if you are going make comments about someone's spelling you should understand three things. 1) the proper spelling is ghetto; 2) you have very poor grammar; and 3) the British spell realize with an S instead of a Z. I think the officer in training makes a very good point about the physics of a bullet as it passes through glass, and I appreciate his point of view.

I think this review should be deleted, if it were a bullet hole then the bullet would be lodged in the wall opposite to the window and obviously if there is no bullet and/or hole in the wall then that means that it was not a bullet. I would assume that if they cleaned up the hole in the wall that they would replace the window as well. Although I would not stand for landscapers ruining my window.
