Ocotillo Bay

First of all, I will say I LOVE the Ocotillo area! It is quiet and safe and I plan on staying, however I will NOT be renewing at Ocotillo Bay. After doing a bit of searching I found that there are at least 7 complexes in the Ocotillo area that are nicer and either the same price or cheaper. We originally moved here bc of the enormous size of the 3 bedroom apt, but I no longer need one and that is really the only perk going for this place. I have lived here for 10 months and there is no pest problem. It is true that the office staff is a bit rude but to be honest it is mostly ---------------------------are super nice. ---- just doesn't much care for pre-teen and teenage children so maybe that is part of what people are talking about since she can be a bit snappy with them. The apartments are average quality for one of the highest prices in Ocotillo. The carpet in our apartment is nasty and has been since the day we moved in but they would never replace it. The bathtubs are old and sort of gross, I have tried and tried to clean them but they are so old that the stains wont come off (yuck!) One of the biggest issues I have had is with the maintenance staff. I have had small amounts of money go missing several times (10, 20 dollar bills) and my neighbors have had jewelry go missing. Although we are pretty sure the maintenance guys are doing it we have had no luck proving it and the office staff has been uncooperative. Overall, I would say don't move here!! Go a mile or even half mile down the street and live somewhere much nicer for CHEAPER!!!!!
