I've lived here since June and I wish I didn't have to leave when my lease is up (moving closer to phoenix so i can be closer to work). It's a great neighborhood with EVERYTHING within walking distance (3 grocery stores, target, banks, MANY restaurants, Starbucks, Paradise Bakery, even an urgent care, chiropractor, and dentist!) There have been a lot of improvements since the new management took over. Sure, the grass was brown for a week, but they were re-seeding it. Yes, the spas were closed for a week, but they were resurfacing them. Yes, the clubhouse was closed for a couple months, but they completely re-did the whole thing and now it's awesome! Anyone who complains about down time during improvements must have nothing better to do.
Uncovered parking is an issue, but I was informed of that right off the bat and given the option of a garage or a carport. I opted for the investment of a garage and it's the best $75 a month I spend.
I have a dog but I am a responsible pet owner who is sure to clean up after my dog and I do wish others would do the same, but it's not as out of control as it was when I first moved in. Overall, I'm very happy here and wish I could stay.
