I lived at Pheasant Run apartments for a year (dec 06-dec 07), and during that time I had many problems. We had to call maintenance at least once a month, sometimes more. The apartment staff was inconsiderate and rude, they acted like our problems were actualy not problems at all. I didnt feel safe in the apartments at all, nothing was well lit and on more than one occasion our outside lights were completely burnt out... making me nervous to even walk up to my house alone. Once late at night someone tried to break into our apartment and the apartments below us. When I came to the staff obviously concerned they simply stated that there was really nothing that they could do since we had a security guard.(one that I had never seen)
I lived on the second floor and on more than one occasion we were graced with the presence of ants..everywhere. I called in an emergency maintenance request and a day and a half later they called me back. After claiming to spray for ants, they (the ants) came back a day later, only to be sprayed once again.
Our air conditioner was broken, although we were told it was in top condition, and we ended up paying on average $250-280 a month for our electric bill. We were blamed for situations that we had nothing to do with, and got an eviction notice. When we took the matter up with the staff they realized they had made a mistake and it wasn't us after all. The pool and exercise room were always broken and we could never enjoy the things we payed for!
When it was time for our lease to end (thank god)we were charged for things that were not disclosed in the lease, and we finally got our security doposit check that they lost and sent to the wrong place (with our names misspelled) almost two months after our lease ended.
Needless to say, I would never recommend this apartment to anyone... It was a horrible experience.

i've lived @ Pheasant Run for 4 yrs. and have never had a problem. of course there's the occasional breakdown.......... i mean the property is twenty something yrs old!!!! What do u expect?! mgmt WAS a littl off for a while, but the apartments were recently bought around Sept '07, and since then......really can't complain much. in the 4 yrs that i've lived here, i've come to find that people (very much like the one who wrote this review) that have this many problems usually turn out to be the root of the problem/s.........
