On 06/19/09 I signed a 1 year lease for an apartment at Pheasant Run Apartments. In the 4 and 1/2 days I lived there I have had nothing but problems and I have literally taken what little I moved in and moved out. From an apartment that reeks of smoke, has dead bugs on the counters, badly patched walls, tile and grout falling off everywhere to a much more serious situation, I was chased up my stairs by 3 men doing drugs in the common area and they banged on my door and even dented it in and over 1 hour later the same guys proceeded to follow me out to the parking lot. I was lucky another resident drove in and they scattered. The management was made aware of all of the above and could care less. I have been told that I will not be let out of my lease to " just deal with it", and "how do I now what the guys that followed me really wanted". The actual manger of the complex never took down any information when I spoke to her and overall dismissed me and my concerns. If you are looking for a safe and clean complex this is not it ! I am currently tryng to break my lease as I never "moved in", never accepted the condition of the apartment, and due to the situation that occured with the 3 men coming after me. I have gotten zero cooperation from anyone at this property !! STAY AWAY !!!! AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt

I am the manager of this property, and I am appalled at the lies that are being told. When this resident came in, she claimed that she was uncomfortable because some guys were BY her apartment. She did not state that she was followed up her stairs and that they "dented" her door. As far as not caring, we were very concerned for her and let her know that we would be willing to transfer her to another apartment away from that area if that would be better. She only demanded to be let out of her lease, and did not even mention anything about bugs or any smells in her apartment. All of her information was taken down and addressed and been given to our district manager.

Actually these are not lies at all; this is just another attempt for this manger to try to cover up her own lack of handling this issue properly. I have a witness to the conversation had with the "manager?? that day, witnesses to the condition of the apartment, records of my phone calls made the night 3 men came after me, the statements of the parties I spoke with that night as I was obviously in shock and very scared, and pictures of the condition of the apartment . Nothing has been resolved or addressed and YES I do want out of this lease as staying on this property in another apartment will not resolve the issue of a lack of my personal safety. Why would I stay on a property where drug using residents can harass and follow and maybe next time harm someone. Nothing has been resolved with this issue.I have filed 2 BBB complaints against the property and the management company.
