Clean place. Nice staff, nice maintenance people but their manager is a huge B CH. This place is a very stingy and crazy about money. They make you pay for everything!!! We forgot to pay our water bill and got letter from the management that if we won t pay it they won t accept our next monthly payment. This place is not pet friendly they want $350 nonrefundable pet fees and plus $30 to your monthly payment for one pet. In the bedroom and living room there is just a fan no light. And in the second bedroom there is NOTHING! We had to buy the extras and install it by ourselves. Recently they were fixing the road and they closed half of the complex. The manager told us to park at the shopping area outside of the complex. We were very happy when we just moved in but now I m not sure if we going to sing our lease when time come. And I don t even know what it would cost us to move out.

move to ocotillo springs sounds like you are very unhappy... we have ceiling fans with lights in bedrooms and living room. and are very pet friendly. i read the apartment ratings before i chose them and thank god i didn't pick your place..everyone in our office is very nice and helpful and so are the maintenance crew too... good luck from california girl

All of your problems are very common problems with ANY apartment complex. Most apartment complexes don't want pets so they charge outrageous fees to keep them out because often times the owner does not take care of their pet and they will have to replace the carpet after the owner moves out and THAT cost a lot! Also, forgetting to pay your water bill is your fault, not theirs. Although it does seem extreme that they would refuse to take rent payments until you get it paid, the apartment complex has every right to punish negligent tenants. As for the future, I wish you luck in finding an apartment complex that will accept late payments, has cheap pet fees, has all the ceiling fans you want, and never has any parking lot maintenance being done! Some people are just TOO picky!

My lease in expiring soon and would not renew. I agree with the orginal comment above. The apt complex is clean but way overpriced. The only time the apt manager Kimberly was nice/decent to me was when she was taking my money while moving in and at the end of the lease when she ask me if I would want to stay. She was a pathic manager who has no skills around professionalism and dealing with a diverse people who live there (cutural diversity).

Kimberly is not the manager at the property. I have witnessed Kim go the extra mile for every resident at the community. In fact, I think she is the nicest assistant manager you will ever meet.
