I moved to Pinnacle Terrace the summer of 2005. I had to move there till I found a house to move into. I don't have much to say that's terribly bad or amazingly good. So here are the pros and cons of the apartments:
PROS
It has two nice pools that are pretty big, so it's easier to share with other people.
There's a gym with enough equipment to give you a good work out.
The office is really nice and doesn't look like some piece of crap.
Also, there's a center where you can rent out a movie theater, which is a nice luxury, but normally the people who live there don't utilize it, because it's a hassel to rent. In the center, there is also a billiards room, an arcade, and a room with two computers.
You can have a pet! That was nice to be able to move into a nice apartment with my small dog, instead of living in the only other apartments that excepted dogs which was a crappy little hell hole of a place.
CONS
When I lived there, the place was infested with crickets, and it was annoying when you're trying to go to sleep and all you hear are crickets chirping.
The kitchen is not the reason people move here. The sinks are way to shallow, so you can't wash anything without getting soaked by water splashing back out. And the dishwashers are not working properly. If you don't rinse everything off the dishes before you put them in, then they come out with dried out crust on them.
You can't paint the walls. If you were looking to decorate, don't plan on hanging things up or painting, because you are forced to sign a contract saying you won't.
This probably isn't a huge deal to you: but I simply hated how the outside was decorated to "attract" prospective customers, when it really looks like a child decorated it. But other than that, it's a good community and ok priced.
