I really have mixed feelings about this place. Parking was an issue...Lived in two different apartments (across the complex from one another)and it was difficult to find parking for the other vehicle. Usually had to jockey for a closer spot... The covered parking itself was adequate but office would not enforce policy. Generally had the neighbor spot take up its half of the middle or have some random person parked in my spot....BTW, the towing policy is a joke. Birds (primarily grackels) would chirp all the time and deficate on the cars. I eventually invested in a BB gun just to scare them off. On the pond side, there was always problems maintaining the fountains. Therefore, the water had a tendency to become stagnant and produce lots of mosquitos. The staff changed quite a bit from when we lived them. ---, the main manager, was nice enough although out of touch with her complex. The assistant, ----- had a definite chip on her shoulder. Ironically enough, she would gripe at people if a dog was not on a leash, yet her children and their friends would loiter and terrorize the complex constantly breaking the gas grills. Noise was ok through the walls. However, you can hear the neighbors up above. The guy who lived above us was very lithe yet it sounded like a sumo wrestle bowling. Also if you live on the south side be prepared to listen to the fire trucks next door leaving on a call. A word to the wise, if you live next door to a smoker and you have sensitivities, don't open your windows or your apartment will smell just like the cancer sticks.
But onto somethings positive.... They do let you paint your apartment to suit your style. The large two bedroom has a nice layout. The pool was always kept clean.

Manager's Response |

| Reflections provides one covered parking space per apartment, however, there are plenty of uncovered spaces available as well as garages. We do address any issues as they come to our attention. A vehicle will be given a warning for the first offense and be towed the second time. This can only happen if the office is given the information from the resident. One of the main reasons that people choose Reflections is because of the landscaping and the lake that runs the length of the property. Where there is a lake, there will also be birds. Our maintenance team does their very best to keep the property neat and clean, however, it is an impossibility to be completely free of bird droppings. Our lake is maintained by Gila Springs HOA. It is not part of Reflections at Gila Springs. We do pay our dues to the HOA and therefore if there is an issue that needs to be addressed, each resident has the right to contact the board. We very much want our residents to enjoy the outdoor enviornment of Reflections as well as the indoor. We are very happy when we see people taking advantage of the gas grill areas or having picnics by the lake. In this beautiful climate, people should not be expected to stay inside! This property is for all of our residents to enjoy! However, our pet policies are strictly enforced! It disturbs me that we would have a resident with those kinds of problems, if only they could have brought them to us we could have helped! | |
