It was great

We have been living there for more than 2 years. We had to be on the waiting list for about two months to get in; we really felt it was worth the waiting then. But it s getting worse for about a while, no wonder the occupancy rate is dropping. The office people are not helpful and friendly as before, maintenance service is not as prompt, bird dropping on walk ways and everywhere else, sprinkler setting is really annoying...
The rent increases about 8-9% per year, we would expect much better service improvement for that. Unfortunately I think they spent most of the money on the exterior face lifting.

| Because Reflections prides itself on our customer service, it disturbes me that a resident should feel so unhappy. Our maintenance team goes above and beyond to satisfy our residents. They take great pride in the fact that work orders are completed within 24 hours unless there is an appt. time requested by the resident or an extenuating circumstance such as a part being on order. An example of their commitment would be when they received a complaint of an unusual amount of bird droppings from a particular tree in the community, our maintenance supervisor took the initative to place owls in the tree to keeps birds away. We have since had that resident come in to say how great it worked! Sidewalks are cleaned as often as possible but unfortunately cannot be done every day. If there is a specific area that needs attention, a resident has only to place a work order. The only complaints I have received about the sprinklers that were not handled ASAP was during overseeding. The sprinklers must be on quite a lot during these weeks so that the seed will take as it is all over the valley. In order to have the lush landscaping that residents love, we must follow our landscaping companies advise. I have a very open door policy. We encourage our residents to visit the office and let us know if you have any complaints, compliments, or suggestions. I am very willing to talk about issues. Sometimes there are solutions but other times it is unfortunate that some issues are out of our control or cannot be changed. We have resident functions almost monthly that we encourage our residents to attend so that we may get to know each other better and there is a monthly newsletter in which we try to keep everyone up to date on events scheduled. Residents are also encouraged to bring ideas and pictures for the newsletter. As per the previous comment, we are very proud of our occupancy rate averaging 95% or better! We have done no "exterior face lifting" recently but have made many upgrades to the interior of the apartments such as, upgraded carpet, lighting, blinds, ect. It is my wish that we be given the opportunity to address any issues before they become a problem that would make a resident dissatisfied. | |
