terrible new management and policies

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I've rented here since August 2004.
We had a very nice management and staff until Jan 1.
The new manager is more oriented towards paperwork and following policies to the letter rather than trying to help out tenants or dealing with people.
Also, they are now enacting a 60 day notice clause in the new contracts that makes it almost impossible to find a new apartment once your lease expires.
She says that this "is for the tenants benefit" because several tenants have not given proper 30 days notice according to her interpretation.
If she had been running the place back in August, I would have never moved here.
The office staff don't respond to you when you show up in the office anymore.
The maintenance people are still attentive and helpful.
