Great place to live

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I lived for slightly more than a year at San Brisas (would still have been living there if I didn't have to move to another state). I had lived at San Cierra (a Mark Taylor property) prior to moving to San Brisas. I decided to move to San Brisas since it was a lot closer to work for me, and because I had become a big fan of Mark Taylor service. A couple of weeks after I moved to San Brisas, the complex was sold and management changed. But the service level was/is still excellent. The office staff is very professional and helpful. Maintenance requests are taken care of very promptly .
San Brisas was built in the late 1990s but is very well maintained. Noise is not a problem (especially if you're not facing Rural). During my stay there, I don't recall having heard my neighbors. Either they were all very quiet, or the apartments are better built than others. Safety-wise the apartments are very good.
The apartments are really conveniently located too. The 101,202 and 10 are a couple of miles away. Chandler Mall, Costco, Target, WalMart, Sam's are within very easy reach. Grocery stores across the street. Lots of restaurants within a couple of miles.
I'd definitely recommmend San Brisas. I got my entire deposit back upon move-out. I did a good job of cleaning the apartment. There was a spot on the wall where a speaker holder (sticker) had come unglued and ripped out quite a bit of paint (I wasn't charged for this).
