Keep looking!

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
I've been in a few apartments and I didn't like this one at all. It looks nice, but the apartments are stacked tall and tight. I know personally my rent would have been more valued elsewhere. I think if you're hard-core into the gym, volleyball and sun bathing you could go far here.
When I moved in I thought it was awful nice with a strong touch of luxury. The good points: Office ladies were nice/Maintenance was good as repairs were timely. On a whole the neighbors were good, but there is a loser in every bunch. Grounds were kept as well as possible, with respect to the monsoons and dirt bags. First impressions were real nice. Finally, on move out, I left the apartment decent and I got $87 of my 150 deposit.
Forget a moment of silence; my clicking ceiling fan ruined a lot of nights. There is minimal wall-to-wall insulation. For instance I couldn't run my washer at night, because it was up against my neighbors bedroom and I couldn't do anything in my bedroom because my other neighbor was always complaining. There was also pipe noise in the walls most of the time. I was upstairs and when the AC's on the roof kicked on it would severely vibrate the dinner table and chairs. I'm big on a view, so I of course overlooked the pool. I knew there would be a potential for parties or noise running late, but it was like watching COPS till five in the morning! You wouldn't believe the fiasco I routinely saw from my patio.
The two bedroom works, but the one bedroom has a really poor layout. I noticed it was tight, but I thought I could make it work. Since I couldn't do anything in the bedroom, due to the sound issue, I was forced into the living room and with the fireplace, I had no usable space. I spent twelve months rearranging and cursing walls.
Without traffic, the location is convenient to restaurants, 101 and the mall. Rush hour and Christmas time, forget it! Parking is tough, as with any apartment but this parking lot is especially tight and while keeping the speed down, but makes for real tight turns with other cars. Also, this is definitely a great place to lock you cars! My wife and I had losses on more than one occasion. The neighbor's Jeep was even lit on fire and ended burning the hell out of the carport.
My folks liked it for the weekend, but I wasn't impressed. I'd look elsewhere. I'd love to put a good review on Cornerstone Ranch, but it wasn't available in the listing.
