THE REAL DEAL

that last review was a joke, but at least it gave me a good laugh. san cervantes is the nicest place i've ever lived! the grounds are beautiful and well kept, the noise level is minimal, and my apartment was immaculate when i moved in. the only complaints i've had so far were some bugs (mostly of the ant and cricket variety, which the pest control guy cleared up fairly quickly) and a few probs. with the office staff, which could be attributed to the high rate of turnover. for example, since i've lived here most of the office staff has changed, and i've only been here a few months!

otherwise, everything has been great. we have free covered parking, a gorgeous pool w/ two spas and a workout room, and loads of beautiful landscaping. the noise level is negligible. if you have kids in the apt above you, you might hear some running around, otherwise it's been very quiet. the farther you are from the pool, the more quiet it is obviously. and since it's the desert, bugs are inevitible but maintenance is happy to come by with some raid spray if you need it, and pest control comes out every week so you can sign up to have your apt sprayed whenever you want. it's really the ideal home and the location is so close to everything!

take the bad reviews at surface value and get the real facts when you visit the apt complex for the first time. what you see is what you get, and believe me, you get a lot for your $$$! i hope i live here for a long, long time!

P.S. FOR THE PERSON WHO WROTE THE REVIEW ON 9/3.............

if you're having a prob. with your insulation, have you tried closing the vents in your bedroom and opening them in the other rooms where it's warmer' that does tend to help, ya know.

if you were moving into san cervantes with pets, you should have requested a blacklight inspection before you moved in, so you wouldn't be blamed for stains that were not your own. that's just common sense. also i'm kind of scared to think that you're concerned about blood and semen stains on your carpet. hope you don't live in my building! ew!

btw, the two guest limit at the pool is per _person_, so you and your husband can each have two guests, which equals 6 people total. and you _can_ have food/drink in the pool area, just as long as it's not in glass containers. that's written in your lease, check it out sometime.

and kathy is really nice, so don't even start with that!

if you were incorrectly given an eviction notice, all you had to do was go to the rental office and explain the mixup in a friendly manner. i'm glad to hear that the rental office takes such drastic measures against people who have dogs. they shouldn't be here anyway!

you didn't say what size apt. you have, but it sounds like you got a pretty good deal, esp. considering that you have a short term lease. i wouldn't ----- too much if i were you!

hope you enjoy living with your mom! we don't need spoil sports here.
