What's wrong with this picture'

I was smitten by the brochure and the tour of the models.

Now to reality - unless you rent right in the front at the front pool it's a different picture, 1st of all they don't tell you that the back of the complex is considered the dog area.

Piles upon piles of poop all over the place.

Last night I counted eight piles on my way from my car to my door - poop station is 10 feet away from my patio and the smell and flies are horrendous.

I requested that it be moved but it's still there.

The front of the complex looks completely different from the rest.

The grills are old and useless yet they put all new grills only in the front.

The landscapers are there daily cutting everything so don't expect any flowers, just cut up shrubs.

The livingrooms are small so don't expect to fit a full livingroom set in there.

Unless you rent a three bedroom the patios are built for two.

This place is too expensive for it not to be the same luxury environment thru out the entire complex.

I've read all the reviews on this site and others and felt that alot of them were very misleading.

So I decided to write my own.

The water bill is also a money maker for this complex.

I am in a one bedroom @ 980.00 monthly rent, single yet my bill is $42.00 monthly.

Not the $20.00 I was originally told it would be.

Renter beware - If it looks too good to be true it usually is.

Unless they rent you the model (highly unlikely).

Well first off...I understand completely about the pet feces all over the place, but I don't live on that side of the property so it doesn't bother me. However, everyone must understand that if you don't ask they won't tell. If you have a problem with dogs then its a good idea to ask if they accept them. If that is the case then of course you will find feces now and again. As much as you hate living next to the feces trash can, they can't just remove it because YOU requested to. I know this because I'm in the business...and NO I don't work here! Why don't you ask to move to a different apartment if your so unhappy? When I moved in I was told that water estimate would be $20-$30 I pay about $30. If its higher than that and you're the only one living there is probably something wrong. If you have such a problem with fitting your furniture in the living room why did you rent the one you have? My apartment is a one bedroom with an extremely spacious living room and patio. My point is that its all based on opinion. It's ashame that you got the crappy end of the deal, but it's kind of like buying a car. Any apartment you live in is going to have problems some more than others. If you're not happy with it I suggest you buy a house. I've lived here for 4 months and I love it. Trust me, I've lived in much worse.

Move to a different apartment if you're not satisfied? The logistics alone is a major undertaking even without alot of furniture. I lived here as well and as a family of three living in what is supposed to be advertised as a luxury apts, I left thinking what was so luxurious about it. And I've noticed the gate for the private entrance opened often. Not safe especially for that part of town.

Was not worth the money and not well maintained. Staff was arrogant and rude. I left when lease was up.

The last guy was crazy. My water bill is $40 or more every month and the place is horrible. He must be an employee trying to conver up all the bad reviews and publicity this place is getting. I have to pay an extra $75 dollar fee to store my family room couches because only a single love seat will fit. I did transfer apartments when I was unhappy and paid a $500 fee to do it. The poop trash cans are a problem and it only takes a second for an employee to remove it, of course this would require them to care about part of the complex that is not the front. Some people cant or dont want to get a house so they expect when they pay more than every where else and are told "luxury" they tend to expect it. I guess thats our fault too for wanted a good place to live.

I don't have a problem with dogs. I have a problem with poop and flies and lies. As should you. But as you stated "I've lived in worse" Maybe you're accustomed to living with it.You sound like poop all over is no big deal. Ikea sells alot of little fake furniture that would fit here. Fortunately my furniture is real and not particle board. But you are right in one respect, I have bought a house and I am moving out. Enjoy your over-priced poop filled apartment.
