We moved to San Palmas because we were so impressed with the immaculate conditions of the property; the fact that it was a gated community and a crime-free area. The office personnel was very professional, courteous and knew every tenant by name.


Over the past several months, the property has been looking unkempt and shabby. The pool and hot tub are not clean and leaves, dead plants, over-grown shrubs and debris are a constant eyesore.


The office staff has been replaced and the new staff is rude and impolite. The manager oversees San Palmas and San Cervantes, and is unable to walk the property because she "works 10 hours a day and doesn?t have time to walk around". The staff used to greet you when you entered the office, but now they will only acknowledge you after you have first adressed them.


There have been problems with violent crime and with unwanted visitors entering the property. There is a problem with juveniles in the neighborhood coming onto the property and damaging the pool and hot tub. The staff has said that because of the problems of late, a security patrol was in the process of being secured. There is no security. The after-hours maintenance emergency number is totally useless. The people answering the calls are quite discourteous and offensive.


On a positive note, the on-sight maintenance staff is very professional, respectful and hard-working. Since we have lived here, they are the only ones that we can depend upon. They are the one constant on this property.
