Things at San Palmas just aren't the same. We used to have lively entertainment and socials, receive wonderful gifts from the office, and there was a real sense of community. That all changed with the current manager. The office staff has been rotated out monthly, so you have one maintenance guy working in your apt. on week and someone else the next. Its hard to see so many faces, and then trust to hand over the rent or for them to be in your home. The rent is exorbitantly high for the old residents but extremely cheap for the new ones! and at time your lease is up, they haggle with your till you get a fraction of a discount and tell you that if you want the specials you have to transfer into a different apt. THIS IS NOT A PET FREE COMMUNITY AS ADVERTISED. There are dogs everywhere! Even large ones. One guy has what looks like a pitbull. Once you walk in the door youll realize how true the "once classy now trashy" post is. They are certainly not a high caliber of people, and now the community has turned that way also. Since the switch the gates are always broken, the lighting in the parking lots is always out, and there have been multiple robberies and car break ins. One night 3 of my neighbors had their cars broken into. Its just ridiculous.

Wow... I must have been out of the loop. I had no idea of the more recent break-ins. This strongly concerns me and I will immediately move if I cannot trust that the community is safe enough for my family to walk through and live in.
